alright folks tumblr is not changing. yahoo will not change it. it would be dumb to spend $1.1 billion dollar on a website just to change it and scare away it’s entire demographic. ALSO tumblr was damn close to NOT EXISTING because it was running out of resources and money. so without yahoo, tumblr would probably cease to exist in the next idk year, tops. but yahoo has prevented that. yahoo has saved us. it is also run by a super cool lady, they have a funny staff tumblr, and maybe tumblr will get BETTER (i.e. better video player, less glitches, just being less shitty in general) with the help of a more experienced company.

at monash university in melbourne the women’s department had a bake sale and cupcakes were one dollar for men and eighty cents for women and seventy cents for trans* people to represent the wage gap and heaps of guys kicked off about it being sexist and that’s how i finally understood how hypocritical and ignorant men’s rights activism is
to be fair that is pretty darn sexist… why cant stuff just be EQUAL for everyone?
